Dihybrid cross is a cross between two parents that have two pairs of contrasting characters, for example, a plant having round and yellow seeds is crossed with a plant having green and wrinkled seeds.
The phenotypic ratio obtained in the F2 generation is
9:3:3:1
Where 9 = Round ,Yellow
3 = Round , green
3 = wrinkled , Yellow
1 = wrinkled , green
