Explain mixed cropping pattern.

1. A mixed cropping pattern is growing two or more two types of crops together on the same land.
2. This is done to give away some insurance against failure of any one of the two or more crops which are grown together.
3. E.g., Wheat and mustard, Wheat and gram, sunflower and groundnut etc.
