Explanantion: 1 Mark each
The number of atoms constituting a molecule is known as its atomicity or Atomicity is the total number of atoms present in one molecule of an element or a substance.
Mono atomicmolecule - A molecule which contains only one atom is called monatomic (inert gases)
Di atomic molecule - A molecule which contains two atoms is called diatomic (oxygen, nitric oxide, hydrogen, etc.)
Tri atomic molecule - A molecule containing three atoms is called a triatomic molecule (ozone, sulphur dioxide, carbon dioxide, etc.)
