Explain most important buffer in blood plasma.

The three major buffer systems of our body are $H_{2}C{O}_3/HC{O}_3^{⊝}$ buffer system, phosphate buffer system and protein buffer system. Out of them, $H_{2}C{O}_3/HC{O}_3^{⊝}$ i.e. carbonic acid-bicarbonate buffer is the most important. Cellular respiration produces $C{O}_2$ and it is immediately converted to $HC{O}_3^{⊝}$ in the blood plasma.
