Nucleus:

  1. It is present at the center of an atom.
  2. It contains neutrons and protons.
  3. It attracts the electron revolving in the orbits of the atom.
  4. Protons are positively charged and neutrons have a neutral charge, as neutrons are neutral so the protons give a positive charge to the nucleus.

Hence, due to the presence of protons in the nucleus, they are positively charged.
