The entire process of plasmolysis is divided into three stages:

1. The early stage of plasmolysis is known as incipient plasmolysis.
2. The next step of plasmolysis is evident plasmolysis.
3. Plasmolysis at the end: It is the plasmolysis's third and final stage.
