Question

explain propagation of sound waves in solid

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student,

Sound is produced only when something vibrates thus when something vibrates it produces sound to support the vibrations the sound requires a medium in which these vibrations will cause the molecules to change in waves and allow sound to move thus when the particles are attached in a closer format it is easier for sound to travel and moves to longer place as less energy is req. to overcome gaps of air.
