Question

Explain refractive index with example using sin I by sin r??

Open in App
Solution

The formulae (sin I)/sin R was derived by Snell, and that is why it is called snell's law,
Don't bother about that just remember the formulae because it requires high level mathematics to derive that law.
But still I am posting the link for the derivation below. If you don't understand it, please leave it you will understand that in standard XII, if you take science.
