Solution

Instructions: Explain sedimentary rock.
Solution:
Sedimentary rocks are formed from pre-existing rocks and they are formed by the deposition that accumulates on the Earth's surface. These rocks used to have layer formation due to the deposition of sediment on top of each other.
Fossils which are nothing but dead plants and animals are most common in sedimentary rock. Unlike most igneous and metamorphic rocks, sedimentary rocks form at temperatures and pressures that do not destroy fossil remnants.
Sandstone, limestone are some of the famous examples of sedimentary rocks
