Explain sustainability of development.

Sustainable development can be understood as 'the process of development through which we are able to meet our present needs and not compromising with the future generation needs'. The concept first emerged in the Brundtland Report in the year 1987. With the fast paced development, the need for the sustainability of development rose so that we can spare good chances for the future generations.
