Desert adaptation in camels:
Legs:
Presence of long legs to prevent the body from coming in contact with the heat
Feet:
Thick large soles are present on the feet which makes it easy to walk.
Water:
Large quantities of water is gulped at a time.
Food:
It can stay without food for 10 days.
Urine:
Water is retained in the body, very less urine is passed and dung is also dry.
Sweating:
Camel does not sweat.
