1. Solids have a definite shape and fix the volume.
2. Particles solid vibrate about the main position but generally do not move from place to place.
3. Solids cannot fill the container in which, it is kept.
4. Solid will retain its shape unless cut squeezed crushed or melted.
5. Solids have crystalline structures.
6. For example, solids are wood and steel.
