Solution

Dear student,
Water exist in three forms solid (ice), liquid (water), gas (steam). So the process of converting ice to water is called melting and the temperature at which it is attained is called melting point. Conversion of water to steam is called boiling which is achieved at 100 degree celsius. When steam is converted into water, the process is called condensation and when water is converted into ice, this process is called freezing.
