Solution:
Singing songs praising God along with instruments like taal (cymbals), mridangam, pakhavaj is called Bhajan. They are popular in North India, Karnataka, and Gujarat.
There are two types of Bhajan:
Chakri Bhajan : Devotees sing and move in circles without a break.
Songi Bhajan : Actors and singers deliver dialogues in the form of devotional songs.
Keertans are performed in temples by keertankar trained in oratory, singing, musical instruments, dance and humour. Naradmuni is considered to be the founder of keertan and the first keertankar of Maharashtra is Saint Namadev.
Lalit belongs to the tradition of Naradiya Keertan where the presiding deity of a festival is invoked for fulfilment of a desire. Its region of popularity includes Goa and Konkan.
