Living and the non-living components of planet forms an ecosystem. Living components are known as biotic and non- living components are known as abiotic. Living components such as animals, plants, insects, birds, etc form the living component and air, water, mountains, soil, natural resources form non- living component of the planet. In an ecosystem living and non-living components interact with each other in an ecosystem.
