Composition of the soil-
- Gravels: Their size is greater than 2mm in diameter. These particles can be picked up by hand.
- Sand particles: Their size ranges from 0.05mm to 2.00mm. These particles are visible with the naked eyes and are rough to touch.
- Silt particles: Their size is between 0.005 to 0.05mm.
- Clay particles: Their size is less than 0.005 mm. So, they are the smallest soil particles.
