Solution: T.N. Sheshan was the former Chief Election Commissioner of India who is well recognised for his key electoral reforms-
A time limit of 14 days for campaigning from the day of withdrawal of nominations
A candidate cannot contest from more than 2 constituencies
A person convicted for a crime for more than 2 years is barred from contesting elections for the next 6 years.
Sale of liquor is banned in a constituency for 48 hours before the day of polling.
