    These are directional movement of plant parts with respect to the direction of the stimulus.
    These are non-directional movement of plant parts with respect to the direction of the stimulus. (1 Mark)
    These are growth dependent movements.
    These are may or may not be growth dependent movements. (1 Mark)
    The tropic movements of plants are induced by stimuli such as light, gravity, water, chemical, and touch. The nastic movements of plants are induced by stimuli such as heat, light, touch (or contact). (1 Mark)
    Example: Bending of plant stem towards light.

    Example: The folding of leaves of a sensitive plant (Mimosa pudica) in response to touch. (1 Mark)
