Explain the differences between the two graphs in the figure.

In the case of the first graph, AB is initiating from the origin which means that a body is starting to move from rest. Whereas, in the case of the second graph AB is initiation from some value of the Y-axis which means a body is starting not from rest and there must be some initial velocity that is not zero.
