There are 3 stages of the life cycle of Plasmodium. The 3 stages are human infection, /asexual reproduction, Sexual reproduction. The first two stages take place in the human body, while the other two starters in the human body and ends in the body of the mosquito. The infection begins when a human gets bitten by female Anopheles and injects infected saliva into the bloodstream.
The second stage is divided into the pre-erythrocytic and erythrocytic phases. It takes place within 30-60 minutes after inoculation and the first target is lives .the schizonts enter the diver and start dividing. At the end of the 3rd stage, the oocyst ruptures and the sporozoites are released inside the mosquito cavity.
