Dear student , Cystic fibrosis: It is a most common type of lung disorder in children and adults. It is mostly hereditary. A thick, sticky mucous is formed in the lungs or digestive tracts in this disease. This type of lung infection can be life threatening. The symptoms of this disease is slow growth in children, belly pain and constipation, nausea, weight loss, loss of appetite, persistent cough, fatigue, nasal congestion and respiratory trouble. Antibiotics and inhaling agents are given for treatment. In some cases lungs transplant can be an option to cure. Smoking, inhaling dusts, fumes, deodorants etc should be avoided.Regards.
