Explain the effects of force.

Effects of force:-

1. Move stationary object. e.g. applying force on a stationary tennis ball while hitting it with a bat will make it move in the direction of the applied force.
2. Stop moving object. e.g. applying brakes can stop a moving car.
3. Change the speed of the object. e.g. hitting a cricket ball.
4. Change the direction of a moving body. e.g. playing tennis or badminton.
5. Change the shape of a body. e.g. on pressing a piece of rubber.
