(a) Through passing carbon dioxide gas into lime water turns milky due to formation of white coloured insoluble calcium carbonate.​
CO2+Lime water [Ca(OH)2]
Calcium Carbonate (CaCO3) [White] + water (H2O)

(b) Bubbles are produced due to the formation of carbon dioxide when acetic acid is added to a solution of sodium hydrogen carbonate.​
