Explanation:
One needs to run for some distance in the direction of the bus after alighting from it because inside the bus, his whole body was in a state of motion with the bus.
On jumping out of the moving bus, if one doesn’t run their feet would suddenly come to rest but their upper body would still continue to stay in its state of motion and hence they tend to fall forward.
But if the person runs in the direction of the bus for some distance, the body will remain in motion due to inertia.
