Explain the following
(i)NCCH2CN is a stronger acid than CH3COC2H5.
(ii)CH3COC2H5 is more acidic than CH3CH=CH2.
(iii)CH3CH=CHOH is more acidic than CH2=CHCH2OH.

(I) NCCH2CN is stronger acid than CH3COCH2H5 because NCCH2CN has two two CN group which has strong (I) effect. Hence it is more stronger acid.
(II) is more acidic than CH3CH=CH2 due to (I) effect of (CO) carbonyl group.
(III) CH3CH=CHOH is more acidic than CH2=CHCH2OH due to the position of double bond (I) effect which is closer to (OH) group in CH3CH=CHOH.
