Reactivity of aluminium decreases if it is dipped in nitric acid.

Aluminium becomes passive when comes in contact with conc. HNO3 due to formation of coating of Al2O3 and so becomes inert to other reactions. Therefore, Reactivity of aluminium decreases if it is dipped in nitric acid.
