• During rusting of Iron, a reddish-brown flaky layer will be formed on the surface of the Iron object which is known as rust.
• In order to prevent Iron articles from rusting various methods are used like oil painting.
• Iron made windows and doors are painted with oil in order to prevent it rusting, this process is known as oil painting.
