Solution

Instructions:
  • Define sea waves.
  • Describe two erosional landforms.
Solution:

The up and down movements of water in the sea are known as sea waves.

Sea cliffs:
  • The steep hillocks facing the sea are called sea cliffs.
  • These cliffs range from a few meters high to hundreds of meters above sea level.
Sea caves:
  • They are formed primarily due to erosion caused by waves.
  • Due to the continuous action of sea waves, cracks get developed on the rock faces.
  • As these cracks become larger and wider, hollow caves get formed on the rocks.
