Instructions: Give the explanation of how the judicial system works in India. Mention the different levels of court along in India.
Solution: In India we have an integrated judicial system which means that decisions made by the higher courts are binding on the lower courts.
There are three different level of courts in India:
At the apex level we have the Supreme Court, which is located in New Delhi and is preceded by the Chief Justice of India.
Each state has a High Court which is the highest court of that state.
Each state is divided into districts that has district courts and are preceded by District Judge.
