Explain the Law of Segregation.

Dear Student, Mendel's law of segregation: This law states that each individual posses two factors (later termed genes) for a particular character. At the time of formation of gametes each member of the pair of genes separates from each other so that each gamete carries only one factor. Law of segregation was given on the basis of Mendel's experiment for monohybrid cross. Regards
