The true lower limit of the class $=$ lower limit of the class $-0.5$

And, the true upper limit of the class $=$ upper limit of the class $+0.5$

Example: $5-9,10-14,15-19$ and so on

Here, the true limits of the class $5-9$ are $4.5$ and $9.5$

In the exclusive form of frequency distribution:

The true upper limit and true lower limit are the same as the upper and lower limits of a class.

Example: $10-20,20-30,30-40$ and so on

Here, the true lower and upper limits of the class $10-20$ are $10$ and$20$.
