Explain the method of median.

The Median is the "middle" of a sorted list of numbers.
If the number of terms is odd then median is (n+1)2
If number of terms is even then median is average of (n2) th and (n2+1)th
Median =l+(n2cff)×h
where l = lower limit of median class.
n = number of observations
cf = cumulative frequency of class preceding the median class
f = frequency of median class
h = class size (assuming class size to be equal)
