After the pollen grain reaches the stigma, pollen tube grows and reaches the ovary passing through the style. Male cell travels down the pollen tube and fuses with the egg cell in the ovule. This fusion is known as fertilisation. Ovary of the fruit develops into the fruit and ovules develop into the seeds.
