Explain the preparation of glucose from cane sugar.

$Canesugar\left(sucrose\right)$ is boiled with dil $HCl$ or $H_{2}S{O}_4$. Hydrolysis gives equimolar mixture of
$glucose$ and $fructose$. The mixture is then cooled and $alcohol$ added. Insoluble $glucose$ crystallizes out first on cooling and is separated by filtration.
