Open in App
Solution

Spinning:

  1. The process which is involved in the process of making yarn from the fiber is called spinning.
  2. From the cotton mass fibers are taken out and twisted which collects the fibers together thus resulting in the formation of yarn.
  3. In the textile industry, spinning is a very important part that involves the formation of yarn by winding together with the taken-out strands from the fibers.
  4. For creating polymer fibers spinning is the manufacturing process.
  5. Various types of spinners used in the textile industries include Ring, Air Jet, Rotor, etc.

Process of spinning:

  1. The first stage is the conversion of polymer into a fluid state.
  2. Some polymers are chemically treated or dissolved in a solvent to form derivatives of thermoplastics, while on the other hand thermoplastic polymer is melted.
  3. The spinneret is then used through which the fluid polymer is passed.
  4. On cooling, the polymer solidifies and forms a rubber-like material.
  5. In the final step of spinning, the cotton yarn is drafted, twisted, and winded.
