Solution
The process by which green plants and certain other organisms change or transform light energy into chemical energy.
Plants use sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to create oxygen and energy in the form of sugar.
Sunlight is trapped by chrolophyll, a green colour pigment in leaf.
During this process oxygen and water are released.
