The process of report writing is:

1. the heading is given which should be very catchy and relevant to the body of the report.

2. The body starts with place and date which are in caps and then the whole body is written as per the incident that took place. The body should be in direct speech and third person. It should be very detailed. usually 3-4 paragraphs .

3. The report is ended with signature and designation of the reporter.
