Role of Consumer Organisations: Consumer organisations examine and compare products/services for advising people and give support to people if they have any problem with the products/services they purchase or hire.
Their role involves :
(i) Creating consumer awareness publishing, arranging conferences or workshop, etc.
(ii) Filing suit on behalf of the consumer, when she/he fails to raise their voice against loss or damage.
Role of NGOs: These are the organisations that do not operate for profit and are engaged in activities related to human rights, environmental protection, and development work.
Their role involves :
(i) Publishing and public speaking on consumer-related topics to spread awareness.
(ii) Providing education and solutions through services or consulting.
