Role of Governor :
The governor invites the party with the majority seats to form their government and appoint the chief minister.
All the bills passed in the state legislature need the assent of the governor to become law.
They are responsible for the governance of a state in case of dissolution of the state government.
Role of Chief Minister:
The state council of ministers is appointed on the recommendation of the chief minister.
The chief minister supervises the work of the state council of ministers.
They act as a link between the governor and the state council of ministers.
