Sahara is an added region in the northern part of Africa. It covers an area of 8.6 million square kilometres. It is the largest hot desert on the planet. The Atlantic Ocean borders it in the West, the Red Sea in the east, the Mediterranean Sea in the north, and Sahil in the South. It covers 11 North African countries.- Algeria, Chad, Egypt, Libya, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Western Sahara, Sudan, and Tunisia.
