Solution:

The forces of the Indian army are organised into three different types of groups namely, the Infantry, the Cavalry, and the Artillery. The mission of the Indian Army is to guarantee national security and defend the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and harmony of India from external aggression and intimidation.
It also includes providing humanitarian support and aid to the common people during natural disasters and unexpected times.

The naval forces are necessary for the protection of the islands and coastlines. The Indian Navy safeguards the interests of the country at sea. And its headquarters is situated in New Delhi. The Indian Navy is headed by a Chief of Naval Staff (CNS) who is an Admiral.
In times of natural calamities like floods, earthquakes, and tsunamis, they carry out evacuation and sometimes engage in rehabilitation and relief programs.

The Indian Air Force is headed by the Air Chief Marshal and its head office is situated in New Delhi. The primary responsibilities of the Air Force is to secure the airspace and conduct aerial warfare during times of armed conflict.
