Solution

(a) Synthesis of ammonia occurs by Haberes process. Habers process is a reversible reaction between nitrogen and hydrogen to form ammonia using Iron as a catalyst.
3H2(g)+N2(g)2NH3(g) ; H=92KJ
It is a exothermic reaction, as 92KJ of heat is given out. formation of ammonia through this process is followed by high pressure and low temperature
