4. Attractive property of a magnet is maximum at its poles where the magnetic field lines are very closely spaced.
5. Attractive property of a magnet is minimum at its center where the spacing of magnetic field lines is maximum.
6. From the below diagram, it is clear that the magnet attracts iron filings and the maximum attraction is at the poles of the magnet.
