Explain the term the 'Lok Sabha'.

Lok Sabha is the Lower House of the Indian Parliament. The members of the Lok Sabha are elected by the Adult Universal Suffrage ( right to vote for all citizens of 18 years of age) and represent their respective constituencies and hold their seats for five years term. Currently, the house the 545 seats out which 543 members. There is a reservation of seats for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes. (24%)
