Explain the term with example:
Alkane

1) Alkane is an acyclic saturated hydrocarbon.

2) In other words, an alkane consists of hydrogen and carbon atoms arranged in a tree structure in which all the carbon–carbon bonds are single.

3) Alkanes are chemical compounds that consist of carbon (C) and hydrogen (H) atoms, so they are also called hydrocarbons. The chemical structure of alkanes only consists of single bonds.

4) Examples :- Methane (CH4), Ethane (C2H5), etc
