Prolapse: Prolapse is the condition in which there is complete falling or descendence of the uterus. The oviduct and the eggs in the uterus are also removed along with the uterus. When there is more fat in the diet and the size of the eggs are very large, this condition may occur.
Deworming: Deworming is the process in which the diseased birds are treated. Generally, the intestinal parasites like the worms are treated and removed from the body of the birds. The treatment is given at certain time intervals.
Cannibalism: The other birds in the group keep on pecking the cloaca which is known as cannibalism. The cloaca and intestinal parts are eaten by the other birds. The nutrient deficiency problems can result in the habit of cannibalsim.
Dubbing: The comb of the birds are pruned or removed for protection against damage. This is known as dubbing. Sometimes the wattles are also removed.
