• And they use household labour as the farmer and his family do all the work on the field.
• As a result, they receive only a small output
• Uses handheld primitive equipment like sickle and hoe.

Commercial Agriculture.

• Here a large plot of land is cultivated
• and Is mainly practised for selling in the market.
• As they work in large areas they employ labourers and use heavy machinery like harvesters and tractors.
