Antibiotics:

  2. Antibiotics like penicillin are produced from the fungus Penicillium and it can act against bacterial growth.

Vaccine:

  1. A vaccine is a preparation that is made up of weakened or dead microorganisms that have lost their ability to infect an individual.
  2. They can stimulate an immune response in the individual which protects them against future infections by the same pathogen.
  3. BCG vaccine and rabies vaccine are some common examples of vaccines.
