The three forms of power sharing in India are
1. Power sharing among different branches of the governments. This means power is shared between the legislature, executive and judiciary.
2. Power sharing between governments at different levels. This means power is shared between central, state and local governments.
3. Power sharing between different social social groups such as religious and linguistic groups. In India, special constitutional and legislative arrangements ensure that socially weaker sections and women are represented in the legislatures and administration.
