The west flowing rivers are the one which drains into Arabian sea.

Narmada:
  • It rises in Amarkantak Plateau, in Madhya Pradesh. It creates many picturesque locations. It is the longest west-flowing river. It is about 1312 km in length.
  • Narmada has a lot of short tributaries including Banjar & Sher River.
  • The Narmada basin covers parts of Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat.
So, the second most important West flowing river is Tapti which originates in Baitul District in Madhya Pradesh
It drains into the Arabian Sea. It is 724 km long.
Flows in a rift valley parallel to Narmada and drains in the Arabian Sea.
